Our practice specializes in boutique eyewear that are sourced from around the world and aren't easily found in your average optical. Our services include primary eye care with an emphasis on dry eye treatment and contact lenses. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team at Hello Optometry. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, is skillful at customer service, and a reliable team member. The Optical Sales Associate is a core member of our team. This position will be a blend of Customer Service, Sales, and Optical duties. While prior experience working in Optometry/Optical is helpful, it is not required. We enjoy training our team members from any experience level and just ask that they have the motivation to learn and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Engage with patients in a professional and personable demeanor Schedule appointments, respond to emails /answer phones Manage and fulfill optical orders (glasses, contact lenses) Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) software Preliminary eye exam testing to assist optometrist Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements 1-2 years in either Customer Service, Sales, and/or Optometry/Optical experience Friendly, professional personality who is skillful at building rapport with patients Familiarity with vision insurance billing and Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is a helpful but not required Experience in a clinical setting or healthcare environment is a plus. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
