Job Description
Overview Batteries Plus Petaluma is looking for a dependable. motivated team member who enjoys helping customers and learning new skills. In this role, you'll assist customers with finding the right batteries, bulbs, and accessories while also performing services such as battery testing and replacement, key fob services, automotive battery installation, and phone/tablet repair. No battery or repair experience is required, we provide training! We're looking someone who is friendly, reliable, comfortable working with their hands, and ready to learn in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Assist customers by providing expert technical troubleshooting support for a wide range of consumer electronics and mobile devices. Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic equipment using hand tools and soldering techniques. Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and related applications. Support customers with mobile device repairs including screen replacements, battery swaps, and connectivity issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience. Requirements Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team Comfortable learning basic electronics, battery testing and device repair Ability to use basic hand tools and follow repair procedures Willingness to learn about batteries, lighting, key fobs, and other products and services Flexible availability, including weekends as needed.
