Our front desk is the first and last interaction our students have when they visit the studio, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, provides excellent customer service, and can help create the welcoming, community-focused environment our studio is known for. This is a part-time position and is a great fit for someone who is dependable, personable, organized, comfortable multitasking, and able to take initiative without needing constant direction. Responsibilities Warmly greet students and check them into classes Provide excellent customer service to both new and existing students Answer questions about classes, packages, memberships, promotions, and studio policies Answer phone calls and assist with basic customer inquiries Process purchases and payments through our studio software Help new students create accounts, sign waivers, and feel comfortable before their first class Assist with class and account-related questions Keep the front desk, lobby, retail area, and shared studio spaces clean and organized Restock supplies and help with light studio cleaning as needed Communicate clearly with teachers, management, and other front desk staff Help promote current studio specials, events, and teacher trainings Complete opening and/or closing responsibilities depending on the shift Notice what needs to be done and take initiative to help keep the studio running smoothly What We're Looking For Friendly, positive, and comfortable talking with people Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable and punctual Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment Comfortable learning computer-based scheduling and point-of-sale systems Able to work independently and problem-solve when needed Professional, responsible, and trustworthy Willing to help with cleaning and general studio upkeep Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness, or front desk experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person You do not need to be an experienced yogi to work with us. An interest in yoga, wellness, fitness, or being part of a close-knit community is a plus. Availability This is a part-time position with shifts primarily during: Weekday evenings Saturday mornings Sunday mornings and evenings We are looking for someone with consistent availability during these times. Please include your current weekly availability when applying. Some flexibility to help cover additional shifts when needed is a plus.
