This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a little bit of everything: hands-on shop support, exposure to fabrication and industrial repair work, and general shop maintenance. with room to learn and grow into other roles over time. We're looking for someone open to working across departments helping the boilermakers and shop crew, picking up new skills along the way, and pitching in on light cleanup and shop maintenance as needed. Assist the boilermaker and shop team with fabrication tasks and industrial repairs Help out in other departments as needed and learn new processes along the way Perform a daily sweep and general upkeep of the shop floor Handle light trash and recycling pickup from workstations, offices, and restrooms Keep the breakroom and shop restroom clean Help clear and organize scrap metal Wipe down machinery exteriors (light surface cleaning only) Restock shop and janitorial supplies Follow written checklists and approved procedures for cleaning and equipment use Take on other shop and maintenance duties as assigned Responsibilities Able to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable with hand and power tools; mechanically inclined a plus Familiar with OSHA shop safety protocols Able to follow written checklists and instructions Previous shop, janitorial, or industrial experience preferred Strong safety awareness, including proper PPE use Willingness to work across departments and grow into new trades Perks Health Insurance Consisten work and overtime $19.00 per hour
INDFM Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
