Relays instructions from supervisor. Gets work started. Sets work pace. Demonstres work methods and provides work-reled guidance. Ensures worksite merials and tools are available to complete work. Reports workplace injuries immediely to the immedie or higher-level supervisor, and to the Human Resources office in the absence of the immedie supervisor. Checks with supervisor on problems. Checks on work and meets productivity goals. Ensures employees follow security, safety and housekeeping rules. Conducts on-the-job training and instructions. Performs supervisory duties in an emergency, or short-term and nonrecurring basis. May perform various duties in connection with loading, unloading, verifying of merchandise, in an Exchange store, storeroom and/or locion. Loads and unloads merchandise; examines for damage or shortages. Verifies type and quantity of merchandise received for agreement with documention provided; brings to tention of supervisor discrepancies and/or deficiencies found. Assists in assembly and loading of merchandise in connection with requests received. Unpacks, segreges and stocks counters and/or shelves with merchandise in accordance with established Planogram (POG) instructions. May be required to use RF devices in support of Planogram (POG) and shelf label execution the store level. May price stamp merchandise. Assists in the conduct of periodic inventories by counting stock items remaining on shelves, and in keeping storage and sales area clean and orderly. Picks up empty boxes/containers from work areas using hand cart. Moves to assigned area for disposal. Operes a compactor machine to crush empty boxes. Removes crushed boxes from machine and ties up for pickup by authorized vendor. May be required to perform such other duties as opering price tag machine, unloading boxes and packages, and pulling merchandise from stock or stock shelves. As required, assists customers in locing merchandise and answering questions of a general nure. May opere a cash register on an occasional basis. May perform light custodial duties/ general housekeeping duties such as cleaning or dusting fixtures. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other reled duties as required. Qualificions Skills and Knowledge:
Must have experience or training in stock handling methods, including pricing, displaying, and roting stock. Must be able to interpret SKU numbers, invoices and shipping stements. Must possess ability to clearly communice general and specific instructions, both orally and in writing. Must possess ability to lead employees in accomplishment of work.Responsibility:
Responsible for performing routine and repetitive duties independently without instruction from supervisor. Assigns duties to personnel and ensures they are completed correctly and in the allotted time given. Checks with supervisor when situions arise th have any questionable aspects to the tasks. The supervisor periodically checks to see th work is done on time and according to instructionsPhysical Effort:
Walks, stands, bends, or stoops and moves arms in filling shelves and counters. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs. with assistance.Working Conditions:
Work is performed in well-lighted areas and maintained a comfortable temperure however, aisles are often crowded with customers. There is danger of minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises. While most of the work involved is in an indoor environment, some work may periodically involve working in warehouse areas th may be subject to hot/cold temperure conditions.
