Full Job Description Summary:
Crazy Shirts purpose is to create original and memorable artwork on quality products that take our customers on the endless vacation in everyday life. The Screen Tech Specialists goal is to support this mission through their preparation of the screens enabling the art to be consistently transferred onto the products.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to: Ensure the completion of all screen work according to the schedule. Art receiving and verification of art positives. Preparation of all screens for art transferring and image burn in as designed. Precise image registration on any respective apparel as designed. All cataloging and labeling of screens as a component of bill of materials. All data maintenance in systems as directed. Reclamation of all screens and preparing and reconditioning for new image transferring. Insuring avoidance or minimal delays in production due to damaged screens. Management of all supplies and work in process equipment and materials. Coach, train, mentor screen team members as directed by Production Manager and Supervisor. Support Production Manager and Supervisor as needed. All other duties as assigned. Previous experience in photographic processing and other screen-printing activities a plus. Must be comfortable communicating verbally and in writing with superiors, peers and subordinates. Must be comfortable working with digitizing equipment and standard office productivity tools.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving items up to 45 lbs. Manual dexterity for operating and calibrating equipment in a dark room setting Manual dexterity for cutting and reclaiming of screens and rack storage of screens Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels, light and heat exposure and chemicals The plant environment may be dusty, noisy, and open to interior temperature changes. Must be able to abide by the companys Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, and Response guidelines as it relates to the spread of communicable diseases, and workplace safety; this includes use of masks (as needed and required per CDC and Company recommendations) and the ability to use cleaning supplies for cleaning and disinfection purposes.
