GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Retail Sales Representative has overall responsibility and accountability to provide knowledgeable and professional service to all customers.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide extraordinary services in the area of Retail Sales including; Digital Cameras and Accessories, Camera Drones, Studio and camera lighting, All photo related accessories. Should also have knowledge of film cameras and operation.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in business relations including customers, fellow employees and management.
- Observe and replenish all stock levels on the sales floor as needed.
- Proactively maintain clean and well-designed merchandise displays.
- Continuously update product knowledge on current and new products available in the industry.
- Perform and maintain accurate documentation of all department transactions.
- Develop and present a minimum of one training class per year to customers on topics relating to products and techniques in the industry.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a high school or equivalent degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of six months retail experience, preferably in an imaging related field.
- Extensive knowledge of image processing and current lab techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
- Excellent reading and math skills, with the ability to use a calculator for determining sales tax, total sales, profit margins and discounts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Must be physically capable of moving, lifting, pulling or pushing 25 lbs.
