The Gary Soles Gallery in is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team for a part-time position of over 22 hours per week. The role involves working in a high-volume photographic gallery and production environment, providing excellent customer service, and managing retail sales. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling photographic services, and supporting gallery operations. Knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, and file handling is advantageous. Additionally, responsibilities include large format printing, mounting, lamination, and framing. This position offers a supportive training environment with compensation based on experience, ranging from $22 per hour plus commissions. Responsibilities:

Assist customers with gallery purchases and inquiries. Manage retail sales and promote artwork. Support photographic services including printing, mounting, lamination, and framing. Handle large format printing and related production tasks. Maintain the gallery space and ensure a welcoming environment. Provide excellent customer service to foster repeat business. Support the setup and display of artworks for exhibitions. Assist with inventory management and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude. Experience or knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom preferred. Ability to handle large format printing equipment. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Previous retail or gallery experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
