Job Summary The Shop Attendant is the workhorse behind the daily operation of Country Boy Mine. As the first person many guests interact with, this position plays a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the gift shop is prepared for a successful day. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Open and prepare the gift shop and property for daily operations. Welcome guests, answer questions, and assist with tour check-in. Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash transactions. Restock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized gift shop. Answer and return phone calls and relay purchasing or operational needs to management. Occasionally assist with feeding the mine's donkeys. Occasionally perform light property maintenance, including litter pickup and restroom cleaning. Support tour guides and management with day-to-day operational needs. Complete additional duties as assigned to help ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 30-40 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors. Cash handling or retail experience is preferred but not required. At Country Boy Mine, no two days are the same. Employees are expected to be flexible, take initiative, and contribute wherever needed to help provide an exceptional experience for every guest.
