This exciting role combines the passion of providing exceptional customer experiences with the leadership of guiding a retail team. As a Budtender, you'll be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our wide range of cannabis products. As a Shift Lead, you'll take charge of daily operations, ensure smooth store functions, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and recommend suitable products based on their preferences and experience levels Conduct product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate POS systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Maintain accurate stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Lead by example in providing excellent customer service via phone etiquette and in-person interactions Supervise store operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with all safety and legal standards Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a cannabis or related industry environment Supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members effectively during shifts Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Passion for cannabis education, product knowledge, and customer service excellence This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within a vibrant retail environment.
