Our goal is to give people the tools, coaching, and community they need to become stronger, healthier, and more confident. We take our training seriously, but we also believe the experience people have when they walk through our doors matters just as much. We're looking for a dependable, outgoing, and organized Front Desk Associate who can help us create an exceptional experience for our members and prospective members. The Position Our Front Desk Associates are often the first and last person someone interacts with at the gym. You'll welcome members, help new guests feel comfortable, answer questions, assist with memberships and retail sales, and help keep the facility organized and running smoothly. This is not simply a "sit behind the desk" position. We're looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and is comfortable helping turn prospective members into members of the gym. This is a part-time position with approximately 6-12 hours per week , primarily during evenings. Additional hours may become available. Commission opportunities are available in addition to hourly pay. What You'll Do Welcome and check in members and guests and create a friendly, professional atmosphere. Help prospective members understand our programs and determine which membership option best fits their needs. Assist with converting trials and prospective members into memberships. Follow up with leads and prospective members by phone and text when needed. Maintain current knowledge of memberships, promotions, schedules, programs, and gym policies. Answer member and guest questions accurately and professionally. Give facility tours and help first-time guests understand what to expect. Help new guests with hand wraps and prepare them for their first class. Process memberships, retail purchases, and other front desk transactions. Assist with retail and merchandise sales. Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and shift checklists. Keep the front desk and surrounding areas clean, organized, and presentable. Walk the facility regularly and address cleanliness, organization, or safety issues. Use web-based scheduling, membership, waiver, and point-of-sale systems. Protect confidential member and business information. Communicate scheduling conflicts or attendance issues promptly and professionally. Occasionally capture photos or short videos of classes and gym activities for social media. Assist with other day-to-day gym operations as needed. What We're Looking For The right person is: Friendly, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with new people. Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work scheduled shifts. Comfortable discussing pricing and asking prospective members to join. Able to follow up with leads by phone, text, and in person. Organized and detail-oriented. Self-motivated and able to recognize what needs to be done without always being asked. Comfortable working independently during portions of a shift. Professional and trustworthy with confidential information. Comfortable learning new software and web-based systems. Able to communicate clearly with members, prospects, coaches, and coworkers. Interested in health, fitness, martial arts, or an active lifestyle. Available for regular evening and weekend shifts. Preferred Experience Previous customer service, hospitality, front desk, or sales experience. Fitness or gym sales experience is a plus. Experience working with membership-based businesses is a plus. CPR/AED certification is a plus. Martial arts experience is welcome but not required.
