Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will play a vital role in driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Required Availability Required availability for this role is for Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM . Hours and schedules may change based on business needs. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively sell to customers. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accurate retail math practices are applied. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash flow. Familiarity with retail math Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered.
