Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our ski and snowboard shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top notch customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining an organized, clean, and inviting store environment. If you are a team player who loves skiing and snowboarding and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail setting, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering personalized product recommendations, especially for tourists unfamiliar with the area.
• Assist customers with equipment rentals, sales transactions, and product inquiries, ensuring they have everything they need for a great day on the slopes.
• Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed, stocked, and accessible for both locals and visitors.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current ski and snowboard equipment, clothing, and accessories to assist customers effectively.
• Offer insights about local ski areas, trails, and conditions to enhance the tourist experience.
• Handle customer complaints and returns with professionalism and care.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience preferred, especially in outdoor or sporting goods sales.
• Passion for skiing and snowboarding, with a good understanding of related equipment and apparel.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor, particularly towards tourists.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
