Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to ensure a positive shopping experience Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrate features through engaging demos, and recommend suitable items to meet their needs Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts Communicate effectively with team members and customers using phone etiquette and clear verbal skills Qualifications Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with grocery store environments is preferred but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and POS operations Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for supporting team efforts Knowledge of merchandising techniques, product demos, and upselling strategies is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
