Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, including store credit account management and trade-ins. Reccomend products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain well-stocked shelves by stocking merchandise, organizing displays, and ensuring attractive visual merchandising aligned with store standards. Provide knowledgeable answers about store products, including video games, trading cards, and related merchandise. Assist in inventory management by conducting stock checks and participating in periodic stock audits. Support the team by contributing to a collaborative small business environment. Experience Previous retail experience preferred, especially within gaming stores or grocery stores with familiarity in retail math and cashiering. Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge related to trading card games, video games, collectibles, or related merchandise enhances customer service delivery. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and stock management practices ensures an organized shopping environment.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
