Job Description
Year Round Sales Associate - Pennywise Consignment | Mystic, CT Pennywise Consignment is seeking mature, hard-working, and reliable sales associates to join our team. Fashion retail experience is preferred, along with a passion for fashion and strong knowledge of today's most sought-after designers and brands. As a member of our team, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our busy, two-story store. Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, maintaining an organized, clean and inviting sales floor, helping customers find their perfect outfits, and assisting with loss prevention. We offer weekly pay, a fun work environment, and first dibs on all the amazing treasures that arrive each day! Daily Responsibilities Greet every customer with a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide outstanding customer service. Assist customers in finding outfits and suggest additional pieces to complete their look. Keep the sales floor neat, clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the day. Help monitor the store and fitting rooms to minimize theft and loss. Stay organized, pay close attention to detail, and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. Contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere for both customers and fellow team members. Qualifications Retail experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right person. Passion for fashion and familiarity with today's top designers and brands. Ability to stand for shifts of up to seven hours. Ability to comfortably lift up to 30 pounds and regularly navigate stairs throughout the day, as our store has two floors. Full-day availability on both weekdays and weekends is required. Because we are a small team, reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping the store looking its best, and is excited to help customers discover pieces they'll love.
