$18.00-$22.50 per hour About KickFIT KickFIT is more than a kickboxing studio—we are a supportive, high-energy community where members come to feel stronger, more confident, and connected. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and proactive Front Desk & Membership Sales Associate to join our Ridgefield team. This person will help create an exceptional experience for every person who walks through our doors, from someone attending their first class to a longtime member celebrating a new milestone. This is not a position where you simply sit behind a desk. The right person will enjoy talking with people, following up with prospective members, keeping the studio organized, and finding ways to make every member feel welcomed and supported. Schedule This position requires consistent availability during the following hours:

7:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Wednesday:
8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

7:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Approximately 14.5 hours per week. Primary ResponsibilitiesMember Experience Greet members and guests warmly and by name Help create an upbeat, welcoming, and supportive studio environment Assist new members and first-time visitors with check-in, paperwork, loaner gloves, and studio orientation Review upcoming class rosters and identify first-timers, newer members, milestones, and members who may need additional support Communicate important member information to the coaching team Answer member questions and assist with scheduling, memberships, class passes, and studio policies Celebrate member accomplishments and help create meaningful personal touches throughout their experience Sales and Lead Follow-Up Respond to incoming calls, texts, emails, and membership inquiries Follow up consistently with new leads, trial participants, and prospective members Help potential members select the best introductory offer or membership for their goals Conduct friendly, goal-focused membership conversations Follow established follow-up systems and accurately document communication Assist with membership and merchandise sales Support studio promotions, special offers, and community events Studio Operations Prepare the studio and front desk for daily classes Keep the check-in area, retail displays, member spaces, bathrooms, and shower areas clean, stocked, and organized Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists Restock merchandise, beverages, supplies, and loaner equipment as needed Monitor inventory and communicate supply or maintenance needs Process paperwork and maintain accurate member records Help ensure the studio is always organized, professional, and ready for members Social Media Support Capture clear, engaging photos and short vertical videos during classes and studio activities Create casual, on-brand Instagram Stories Highlight member milestones, studio happenings, events, and behind-the-scenes moments Submit photos and video clips for the KickFIT team to edit and use Make sure member privacy and studio guidelines are followed when capturing content What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Warm, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Organized and able to notice what needs to be done without always being asked Confident making phone calls and having sales conversations Comfortable learning scheduling, point-of-sale, and member-management systems Able to communicate professionally by phone, text, and email Familiar with Instagram Stories and capturing quality phone photos and videos Willing to clean, organize, restock, and help wherever needed Calm and solutions-focused when the studio becomes busy Passionate about fitness, community, and helping others succeed Previous customer service, hospitality, fitness, front desk, or sales experience is preferred. Experience in a fitness studio is helpful but not required. We are happy to train the right person who brings the right energy, reliability, and willingness to learn. Compensation Pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.50 per hour , depending on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and the ability to independently manage the responsibilities of the position. Physical Requirements This position may require standing and moving throughout the studio, light cleaning, restocking merchandise and supplies, and lifting or moving items weighing up to approximately 30 pounds.
