Retail Sales Associate Shelton Toys & Games Shelton, CT Job Details Part-time $18 - $25 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Retail sales Full Job Description Part-Time Retail Sales Associate — Shelton Toys & Games Shelton Toys & Games is a brand-new, independently owned specialty toy store opening in Shelton Square — and we're building our very first team! We carry LEGO, board games, plush, STEM kits, arts & crafts, TCG, dolls, building toys, and more. If you light up walking down a toy aisle, we'd love to meet you. About the Role This is a hands-on, active retail role where every day looks a little different. You'll be on the sales floor helping customers, working the register, restocking shelves, building displays, and keeping the store looking great. Responsibilities Greet customers and help them find the perfect toy or game Ring up sales and operate the POS system Gift wrap Unpack, price, and restock new inventory Build and maintain fun, eye-catching displays Demo games and toys so customers know what they're getting Answer phones, manage wishlists, and help with general store upkeep Qualifications Prior retail experience preferred Great customer service skills — friendly, patient, and comfortable with kids and parents alike A fun, kid-friendly attitude Strong work ethic and reliability Availability on weekends required (our busiest and most fun shifts!) Schedule Part-time, including regular weekend shifts. Weekday shifts also available.
