Cashier Job Description Duties:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis is a MUST.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills to manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English to interact with customers effectively
• Basic technical sales of hardware and power equipment to promote products or services to customers.
• Plumbing, Electrical, Hardware, Power Equipment knowledge is desirable
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities
• Ideal candidate would have forklift experience or certification
