Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Cashier/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, operate a cash register with accuracy, and contribute to the overall success of our grocery store.

Duties:

• Greet customers in a welcoming and professional manner, answering their questions and addressing their needs.
• Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card transactions, and making change.
• Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently, using basic math skills as needed.
• Restock shelves and assist with visual merchandising to maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about products and services.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and improve processes.

Skills:

• Proven experience in customer service and sales.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Basic math skills to calculate change and manage cash.
• Experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
