Auto Shop Assistant

Job Overview The Shop is Bradenton's premiere auto body, paint, repair and custom shop. From classic hot rods to modern muscle we repair, restore and customize almost everything with wheels - you can visit our social media at @theshopfl This position involves working as an assistant for the business owner and handling a broad variety of day-to-day tasks. As we are a custom car shop, there are many possible duties and skillsets that will come into play, for example: Mechanical Replacing batteries Jumpstarting vehicles Changing tires Checking and changing fluids Assisting mechanics or body/paint techs as needed Office Making social media posts and content creation Posting items for sale via Ebay, Marketplace, etc Running errands, picking up parts etc. Filing paperwork and data entry Overall Keeping facilities clean and orderly Keeping parts inventory clean and orderly Picking up/dropping off customers or vehicles Attending car shows/meets to help with promotion The following requirements are a must: Valid drivers license Basic mechanical skill Ebay, marketplace and online retail sales knowledge In additional, bilingual or experience driving a truck/trailer are also very helpful, though not a must.
