Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their shopping experience Operate the cash register (POS system) efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and accessible store layout, supporting effective merchandising strategies Perform retail math calculations accurately for transactions, pricing, and inventory adjustments Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation and inventory checks Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and conducting periodic stock counts Qualifications Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments with familiarity in POS systems and cashiering Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and basic retail math principles Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence Ability to handle cash register operations accurately and responsibly, including cash drawer handling and cash handling procedures Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail sales transactions enhances your fit for this role Excellent phone etiquette skills combined with a friendly attitude to assist customers effectively Embark on an exciting journey where your energy makes a difference!
