Job Description
Marine Sales Associate As a Marine Sales Associate, you play a critical role in driving boat sales while achieving dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction goals. Position Overview The Marine Sales Associate role encompasses four core areas of responsibility: personal productivity, prospecting, selling, and follow-up. Success in this role is built on a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will focus on understanding customer needs, demonstrating and delivering boats, and maintaining a structured follow-up process that generates repeat and referral business. Key Responsibilities Establish personal income goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them Report regularly to the Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, performance reviews, and analysis Attend dealership and manufacturer meetings and training sessions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, features, accessories, and product technology, and effectively communicate customer benefits Build and manage a prospect development and follow-up system Introduce customers to service department personnel and collaborate with service teams to ensure boats are reconditioned and delivered on schedule Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance analysis to optimize time management and sales effectiveness Job Requirements Successful Marine Sales Associates demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a positive, self-motivated approach to sales. The ability to manage time effectively while delivering a high-quality customer experience is essential.
