Join the team at RadioShack / Batteries Etc. in Inverness, FL! We're looking for a tech-savvy, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Electronics Technician to support our storefront operations. If you're passionate about electronics, batteries, and customer service - and you enjoy working hands-on with small components and repairs - this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in locating and identifying small electronic components, including: Capacitors, Resistors, Diodes, Transistors, Fuses, Bulbs Hook-up wire, connectors (BNC, PL-250, RG6, RG59, UHF)
Switches:
Rocker, Toggle, Push Button, Momentary Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently Demonstrate a working knowledge of all major battery chemistries and help customers select appropriate power solutions Perform or learn to perform smartphone and tablet repairs (screens, batteries, etc.) Keep inventory organized and well-stocked Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional storefront Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for inventory, communication, and reporting
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Strong knowledge of consumer electronics and components preferred Previous retail or technical sales experience is a plus Ability to troubleshoot and explain electronic components and battery solutions Willingness to learn and perform basic electronic repairs Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Compensation:
