Location:

Leesburg Area (Store #1 and Store #2 — located less than 5 miles apart) About The Role Liquor Land is looking for a reliable, self-motivated Retail Associate to join our team. This role offers a balanced mix of customer engagement and independent floor operations. During peak hours, you'll deliver welcoming customer service and operate the point-of-sale register. During quieter periods, you'll take full ownership of store stocking, cleaning, shelf organization, and inventory preparation.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales:

Greet shoppers, answer product inquiries, assist with bottle selections, and recommend in-stock alternatives.

Cash Register & POS Operations:

Accurately process cash, credit, and digital transactions; manage till drawers; and count change back accurately.

Compliance & Age Verification:

Strictly enforce state liquor laws by verifying valid photo IDs for all age-restricted purchases.

Store Upkeep & Deep Cleaning:

Maintain clean store displays, sweep, dust, sanitize counters, break down cardboard boxes, and keep shelves organized during quiet hours.

Stocking & Inventory:

Unload delivery stock, restock sales floor displays, fill cooler doors, and safely lift inventory cases weighing up to 50 lbs.

Store Awareness & Loss Prevention:

Maintain visual line-of-sight across the store to help deter theft and protect high-value or easily concealed items.

Requirements & Qualifications Age:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lb cases and stand for extended 8-hour shifts.

Transportation & Scheduling:

Must have reliable personal transportation to work weekly assigned shifts at either of our two local store locations (less than 5 miles apart).

Self-Motivation:

Ability to stay productive, focused, and proactive without constant direct supervision during slow store hours.

Flexibility:

Available to work daytime and evening shifts, weekdays, weekends, and peak holiday periods.

Experience:

Previous retail, customer service, or beverage industry experience preferred, but we're willing to train candidates who demonstrate high reliability.
