Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and create memorable shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will serve as the face of our store, assisting customers with their needs, showcasing products through engaging demos, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-organized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while working in a fast-paced, vibrant setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers in product selection by offering knowledgeable recommendations and conducting product demonstrations when appropriate Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain attractive merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and implementing visual merchandising strategies Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and accurate stockroom organization Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support cashiering duties with basic math skills to handle transactions accurately and efficiently Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations Skills Proven experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both person and over the phone Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with upselling strategies to increase sales while maintaining integrity and customer trust Basic math proficiency for accurate cash register operation and transaction processing Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
