Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and creative Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers and providing exceptional service. Your artistic and creative skills will be valued as you assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and reflect their personal style. The position involves handling cash register transactions and contributing to a welcoming shopping environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Manage sales transactions accurately using the cash register, including processing payments and issuing receipts Assist customers in selecting products, offering expert advice on artistic and craft items Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked Demonstrate knowledge of store merchandise to answer customer questions effectively Support inventory management by restocking shelves and tracking product availability Contribute to creating an inviting store atmosphere that encourages customer engagement Uphold all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant shopping environment Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key Basic proficiency with cash register operations and handling monetary transactions Artistic flair or experience in crafts is highly desirable, with an ability to share creative insights with customers Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or evenings if required A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals passionate about retail, art, and crafts.
