Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience, including product demos and answering questions about store merchandise Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts Upsell products and suggest complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating store activities Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items, especially during promotional events or new product launches Requirements Previous experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions preferred Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or assisting with store operations Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customers Knowledge of grocery store or retail store product knowledge is beneficial for providing accurate information and recommendations Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers accurately Experience with stocking, merchandising, and inventory management in a retail or grocery environment preferred Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Prior cashiering experience with familiarity in cash register operations and retail sales transactions required Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
