Sales Associate/Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently processing transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute significantly to our store's atmosphere and customer satisfaction. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain knowledge of store promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations. Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively and organized. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism, ensuring a resolution that aligns with company policies. Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial transactions. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone. Qualifications Previous experience in a retail sales environment and Gas Station, Convenience store is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage. Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
