The Best Players Need the Best People. Responsible for scheduling and set up of all trailers for
PGA TOUR, PGA
Tour Champions, and Korn-Ferry events. Includes tractor and trailer setup and maintenance and is an active CDL driver for one of the units. This position may assist with deploying and maintaining on-course digital scoreboard and golf cart set up and tear down.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical associate degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of relevant experience required, preferable in the following areas: outdoor construction, tool usage, basic computer skills, military service or utility / power installation. Clean driving record, CDL and meet DOT requirements are required Basic mechanical abilities required Technical knowledge for set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment Extensive travel required; teamwork, initiative, dependability and promptness; ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects; ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals; excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
As a member of the Golf Technology team, responsible for the growth, support, and delivery of the PGA TOUR's ShotLink execution onsite, the underlining infrastructure that supports scoring, broadcasting, marketing, tournament operations that ensures quality data deliver for scoring, broadcasting, marketing, tournament operations and other teams as required. Drive and strategically stage 53 foot trailers at scheduled events Responsible for safely transporting goods and materials from one location to another using a large truck, often over long distances, by planning routes, managing loading and unloading, and ensuring the truck is properly maintained while adhering to all safety regulations Coordinate with field operations staff, golf course superintendents, agronomist and rules officials to ensure the proper placement of scoreboards as required. Assist with the proper set up, breakdown, and on-site maintenance of all ShotLink, fitness and club repair, and golf cart trailers for
PGA TOUR, PGA
Tour Champions, Korn-Ferry tractor trailers including golf cart fleet and ShotLink equipment as required. Assemble, deploy and maintain on-course digital scoreboard and structure, responsible for assisting with potential issue resolution including complications due to weather, power or vendor support as required. Assist with unloading, packing and completing asset inventory. Serve as point of contact for field staff regarding trailer technical and power issues on site, ensure correct set up of power, internet services, and satellite TV's. Responsible for obeying and following applicable traffic laws. Response for securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle. Required to maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with company, state and federal regulations, complete monthly JJ Keller DOT training. Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving. Responsible for planning routes and meeting delivery schedules. Must comply with truck driving rules and regulations, reporting defects, accidents and violations. Performs daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.). Contributes to departmental operations, including staffing, budget management/ cost containment, and internal communication. Special projects or other duties as assigned.
