Student Worker-Campus Store Floor Help 20 - Florida Campus - Port Orange, FL 32129 Apply Apply Description •Open to current Palmer College of Chiropractic students only.•Position Summary The Campus Store Work Study assists with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and receiving merchandise. Students are expected to be dependable, punctual, and professional and to work all scheduled shifts. When unable to work a scheduled shift, students are expected to provide advance notice and assist with finding a replacement when applicable. Duties & Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist with sales. Operate the cash register and accurately handle payments. Answer phones and process customer orders. Receive, check in, and stock merchandise. Clean, straighten, fold, and maintain the sales floor. Assist with merchandising and displays. Maintain product knowledge. Represent Palmer College and the Campus Store positively. Work cooperatively with Campus Store staff, students, and college personnel. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Palmer College of Chiropractic student. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Dependable, organized, and punctual. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Creativity and attention to detail. Ability to learn product information and follow instructions. Employment begins on the student's date of hire and ends upon termination by the student or supervisor, or upon graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic, whichever occurs first.
