Job Summary The position of Retail Associate is responsible for greeting all customers in a friendly and courteous way, selling merchandise, maintaining a neat and tidy store while also assisting customers with all questions and requests. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Energetically welcome customers and provide a friendly, courteous shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products and escort them to desired merchandise locations
• Maintain knowledge of store merchandise to answer questions and make recommendations
• Drives sales through engagement of customers and suggestive selling
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
• Operate the register and POS system
• Manage financial transactions
• Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records
• Upsell merchandise at appropriate times
• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Perform inventory and assist with stock organization
• Alerts management of potential security issues
• All other duties as assigned
