Job Description
Job Overview We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Smoke Shop Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help customers find the right products, provide excellent service, keep the store clean and organized, and ensure all sales comply with company policies and age-verification laws. If you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with tobacco, vape, CBD, hookah, glass, and smoking accessories. Verify customer age and follow all laws and store policies for age-restricted sales. Operate the POS system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly. Keep the sales floor clean, organized, stocked, and inviting. Restock merchandise and notify management of low inventory. Recommend products based on customer needs and answer questions about product features and use. Assist with opening and closing duties. Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude. Work as part of a team to create a welcoming shopping experience. Qualifications Retail, smoke shop, convenience store, or customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash. Friendly communication skills and a customer-first mindset. Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment. Basic knowledge of tobacco, vape, CBD, hookah, and smoking products is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
