POSITION SUMMARY

St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a self-starter who would like to kick start their career in a fun and dynamic work environment. Your excellent customer service skills, keen eye for detail and friendly, hard-working demeanor will make you stand out. As the Full Time Sales Associate you will be responsible for: Receiving and sorting donated merchandise Assist donors with unloading donated items Pricing merchandise in accordance with established procedures Cash Register operations and securing money and credit card receipts Providing a great experience for customers while donating, shopping and checking-out purchases. Maintaining a clean and orderly store and processing environment We are looking for people who: Enjoy detailed oriented work Are diligent and hard working Organized Can go above and beyond to meet the needs of customers Reliable and on-time Previous retail and cash handling experience is a plus Comfortable working in a non-profit, mission focused Catholic based organization Experience working with volunteers is a plus Bilingual Spanish speaking a strong plus! This is a part time position. The selected individual must be available Monday

• Friday from 3:00 pm
• 7:00 pm and at least two Saturdays a month from 10:00 am
• 7:00 pm.

No Sundays! This is an active job; frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting and squatting will be a part of the daily routine. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation.
