Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained through effective merchandising Handle retail math calculations accurately for transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory management Manage cash drawer handling with integrity, ensuring accurate cash register operations and balancing at shift end Support inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts Maintain professional phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, and cash register operations is advantageous Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are beneficial for growth within the team Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory tasks Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries courteously This vibrant role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding service.
