Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product demos, highlighting features and benefits of toys to encourage purchases Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Handle cash, process payments, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity Upsell products by suggesting complementary items to maximize sales opportunities Keep the store organized by managing inventory levels, restocking shelves, and ensuring cleanliness Provide support with phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or assisting over the phone Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or popular toys, increasing engagement and sales Support supervising staff as needed in daily operations and customer service excellence Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a toy or grocery store environment Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse community effectively Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for success in this role Enthusiasm for toys, games, and children's products to share knowledge confidently Join us in creating a lively shopping atmosphere where fun meets exceptional service!
