From greeting customers to organizing products and even hosting LEGO parties, you'll play a key role in making our store a go-to destination for imaginative fun. This role will also post on social media and do sales in Whatnot.
Key Responsibilities Provide Exceptional Customer Service:
Welcome every guest with a friendly smile, guide them to the products they need, and answer questions about our inventory.
Cash Handling:
Operate the register, count and balance tills, process payments, and handle returns/exchanges accurately.
Opening & Closing:
Assist in store opening/closing duties, including restocking shelves and ensuring a clean, organized space.
Demonstrate Products:
Showcase product features, conduct trades, and offer recommendations to help customers find the perfect set or minifigure.
Store Upkeep:
Clean and organize the store (including restrooms), maintain tidy displays, and help keep inventory up to date.
Party Hosting:
Plan and run fun, engaging LEGO-themed parties for kids and adults.
Whatnot shows:
Run Whatnot shows to sell Lego live on Whatnot streams .
Social Media:
Post content on social media as needed.
Train New Staff:
Help new team members learn essential processes, from store policies to customer service best practices.
Phone & Communication:
Answer incoming calls professionally, address inquiries, and transfer calls as needed. Be an
Ambassador:
Represent Bricks & Minifigs by sharing knowledge and excitement with customers of all ages.
Requirements Education:
High school student or recent graduate; must be at least 16 years old (or meet state-age requirements).
Availability:
Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, after school, and possibly some holidays.
Customer Service:
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and strong communication skills.
Math Skills:
Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions.
Team Player:
Willingness to collaborate with others and take direction.
Physical Demands:
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light to moderate lifting. Passion for
