Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming shopping atmosphere Assist customers in selecting products by understanding their needs and offering tailored recommendations Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance store presentation Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves, organizing stock areas, and conducting regular stock checks Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support store operations by performing basic retail math for pricing, discounts, and sales calculations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily store functions and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization Experience Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding new team members or managing small teams during shifts Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling enhances effectiveness in this role Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve diverse customer bases Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail math contributes to success in managing transactions and inventory Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers confidently and clearly Previous experience demonstrating products or conducting product demos is advantageous but not mandatory Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
