Job Summary Position Summary The Retail Shipping Associate serves as a front-line representative of Kings Bay Mail & More and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with shipping, printing, mailbox services, and other business center solutions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations by accurately processing transactions, producing print orders, assisting with business services, and maintaining an organized and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced retail setting while representing the company's commitment to professionalism, efficiency, and community service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. Provide excellent customer service and create a positive customer experience. Process domestic and international shipments accurately through multiple shipping carriers. Package customer items according to carrier standards and company procedures. Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, faxing, passport photos, mailbox services, and specialty print products. Operate printers, copiers, wide-format equipment, and other business service equipment. Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance. Monitor inventory and notify management of supply needs. Participate in training activities and support team operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one (1) year of customer service or retail experience preferred. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in shipping, printing, office services, or business center operations. Experience operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions. Knowledge of office equipment, printers, copiers, and scanning devices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the store regularly. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
