Job Description

Fragrance Consultant Élance Parfums 4367 Lawrenceville Highway, Suite 9 Tucker, GA Part-time and full-time opportunities available Élance Parfums is a new affordable-luxury fragrance boutique bringing more than 400 fragrances from Middle Eastern, Australian, French, and other international brands to Tucker. With an elegant emerald-green-and-gold setting and fragrances generally ranging from $25 to $150, we are creating a welcoming place where customers can explore exceptional scents at approachable prices. We are hiring 3-4 Fragrance Consultants to help bring that experience to life. This is not a traditional department-store fragrance position. We do not believe customers should be followed around the store, pressured to purchase, or approached with an aggressive sales pitch. Our Fragrance Consultants warmly welcome each guest, give them room to browse, and remain attentive and ready to help when guidance is wanted. The right person will enjoy connecting with people, learning about fragrance, and offering thoughtful recommendations without making customers feel pressured. What You'll Do Welcome customers and help create a warm, upbeat, and relaxed shopping environment. Allow guests space to explore while remaining observant and readily available to assist. Ask thoughtful questions and recommend fragrances based on a customer's preferences, occasion, budget, and desired scent profile. Explain fragrance notes, performance, brands, and scent families in clear, approachable language. Operate the POS system and accurately process purchases, returns, and exchanges. Restock merchandise and maintain the appearance of wall displays, brand zones, testers, and promotional areas. Learn Élance's growing catalog of more than 400 fragrances through paid training, an existing 150-fragrance reference guide, and fragrance masterclass materials. Keep the sales floor, checkout area, testers, displays, storage areas, and other workspaces clean and organized. Follow opening, closing, cash-handling, inventory-control, and loss-prevention procedures. Help create occasional upbeat, social-media-friendly moments in the store when appropriate. Content creation is not the primary responsibility of this position but can lead to increased pay depending on performance Support the team during the grand-opening period, holidays, special events, and other high-traffic times. What We're Looking For A warm, friendly, upbeat, and approachable personality. A service style that is helpful and engaging without being overbearing. The judgment to recognize when a customer wants assistance and when they would prefer space. Genuine interest in fragrance and enthusiasm for continued learning. Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills. Dependability, punctuality, organization, and attention to detail. Comfort learning a large product catalog gradually through training and hands-on experience. Ability to explain recommendations naturally without relying on overly technical fragrance terminology. Retail, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred. Fragrance, cosmetics, or beauty experience is a plus, but it is not required . Willingness to learn the POS system and follow store procedures.
