Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the POS system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Assist with merchandising by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing Manage inventory through stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and conducting regular stock checks Handle cashiering duties including processing returns, exchanges, and maintaining accurate cash register balances Engage in effective communication with customers using phone etiquette to answer questions or provide assistance Support store operations by supervising team members when needed and ensuring adherence to store policies Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination abilities Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is essential for accurate transactions Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management will set you apart Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and retail calculations Join us as a Retail Store Associate to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while growing your retail expertise!
