Overview We are looking for an outgoing, motivated insurance producer who wants to build relationships, develop new business, and grow with an established insurance agency. This is a true business-development and sales position . We're not looking for someone to sit at a desk waiting for the phone to ring. We're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, developing referral relationships, identifying opportunities, and bringing new clients into the agency. Job Details Base pay plus uncapped new business commission Office hours Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm Responsibilities Develop new Property & Casualty and Life insurance business for established insurance agency Build relationships with individuals, families, and business owners in the community Develop referral relationships and centers of influence Follow up consistently with prospects and opportunities Identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage Prepare and present insurance proposals Ask for the business and close new accounts Maintain an active sales pipeline Represent the agency professionally in the community Work toward clearly defined new-business goals Requirements An Iowa Property & Casualty and Life insurance license is required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by the agency Insurance sales experience is helpful but not necessarily required for the right person. Is naturally comfortable meeting and talking with people Is self-motivated and accountable Enjoys developing relationships Isn't afraid to ask for introductions and referrals Follows up consistently Is competitive without being high-pressure Can work independently and manage a sales pipeline Wants compensation to increase as production increases Understands that successful sales require consistent activity

$2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
