Job Description

Summary of Functions:
Day to day manufacturing of Clean Room flat bags and pouches using machines to form, seal and wind products
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate bag making machines to complete customer orders in accordance with detailed specifications Use RF scanner when necessary to scan material Scan correct inventory label into system for inventory traceability (inbound and outbound material in clean rooms) Setup flat bag machines according to work order specifications as listed (including special instructions listed on work order by customer service) Ensure quality of bags meet customer expectations Keep constant watch over production run process to ensure: Seal Integrity Constantly check seal quality through testing Bag dimensions (length and width) Print quality if applicable (tear notch locations and repeat) Foreign material in or on the film/finished product Maintain integrity of material through web handling techniques Tension control Trouble shooting (tape collaring, wrinkle alleviation) Change master rolls as need Print quality if applicable (tear notch locations and repeat) Preparation, packaging and labeling of products in cartons (if applicable) Follow all applicable gowning specifications for ISO cleanroom compliance Keep work area and surrounding area clean Operate touch screen computer to complete orders, print labels, assess time to jobs, etc. Ability to be cross trained on all flat bag machines Various duties as assigned by supervisor
