Jack's Pumpkin Pop Up is hiring outgoing, organized Box Office & Retail Associates for our seasonal fall team at

Goose Island:

1265 W LeMoyne St. Chicago, IL 60642 This is a guest-facing position that combines ticketing, customer service, POS transactions and retail responsibilities. Depending on the needs of the event and your assigned station, you may spend a shift helping guests at the front gate, processing ticketing issues, selling merchandise or supporting another guest-facing sales area. We're looking for people who are friendly, accurate and comfortable interacting with large numbers of guests.

Jack's Pumpkin Pop Up 1265 W LeMoyne St. Chicago, IL 60642 Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Drop-in interviews. No appointment required. Please ask for Hector, Alex or Kara Please bring a resume. Interviews generally take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Depending on your assigned area, responsibilities may include: Box Office & Ticketing Welcome guests arriving at the event. Scan tickets and assist with entry. Answer ticket and event questions. Help guests with ticket purchases. Assist with basic ticketing or entry issues. Process transactions accurately. Help keep entrance lines moving. Communicate larger ticketing or guest issues to a supervisor. Maintain an organized and professional front-gate area. Retail & Merchandise Welcome guests to merchandise and retail areas. Help guests locate products and merchandise. Answer product questions. Process purchases accurately through the POS system. Restock merchandise throughout the shift. Organize merchandise and maintain displays. Monitor stock levels at your assigned station. Maintain a clean and guest-ready sales area. General Guest Experience All associates may also be asked to: Answer guest questions. Provide directions and event information. Help organize lines and guest flow. Support other guest-facing stations when needed. Maintain a friendly and professional attitude during busy periods.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous retail, cashier, box office, ticketing or customer-service experience is preferred but is not required for every candidate.

Strong candidates:

Are outgoing and comfortable interacting with guests. Have strong attention to detail. Can process transactions accurately. Are comfortable learning ticket-scanning and POS systems. Stay friendly and composed during high-volume periods. Can confidently approach and assist guests rather than waiting to be approached. Show up on time and ready to work. Keep their assigned station organized. Communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members. Are comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Have flexible evening and weekend availability. Experience using Toast, Square, ticket-scanning software or similar systems is a plus.

COMPENSATION

$18.00 per hour

AVAILABILITY

This is a seasonal event position. Seasonal full-time and part-time schedules are available. Hours and shifts vary based on event schedule, position and availability. Evening and weekend availability is especially important during the operating season.
