Retail Sales Associate We have an immediate need for a Retail Sales Associate to join a family-owned business on a Direct Hire basis. This position is located in Dixon, IL. The ideal candidate is friendly, motivated, and dependable. In this role you will help customers with their needs while providing an exceptional shopping experience from start to finish. Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Hours:

8am to 5pm M-F and every other Saturday 9am - 12pm

Employee discounts, ongoing product and sales training, opportunities for advancement Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service Learn and maintain knowledge of major appliance brands, features, specifications, and available products Listen to customers' needs and help them select appliances that fit their home, lifestyle, and budget Provide product demonstrations and explain appliance features, benefits, operation, and care Prepare quotes, sales orders, and related paperwork accurately Process sales transactions and collect payments Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, installations, and special requests Maintain accurate customer and sales records Keep the showroom clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing Assist with receiving, pricing, tagging, and displaying merchandise as needed Stay up to date on manufacturer promotions, rebates, and special offers Work with delivery, installation, service, and management teams to ensure a smooth customer experience Help answer phones and assist customers with general questions when needed Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail, sales, appliance, or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude Ability to listen to customers and identify their needs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale and inventory systems Ability to learn product specifications and confidently explain them to customers Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
