Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to create an inviting atmosphere. Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations. Assist shoppers in selecting products that meet their needs, upselling when appropriate to enhance their experience. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure product visibility and accessibility. Conduct inventory checks, restock products, and assist with stock management to keep the sales floor fully supplied. Follow all safety protocols, including verifying legal age requirements, adhering to phone etiquette standards, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs. Experience with merchandising, stocking, or grocery store operations is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and professionalism. Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions is preferred but not required.
