Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated

PART-TIME SALES ASSOCIATE

to join out locally owned mattress store team. The Sales Associate is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their sleep needs, and helping them select the right mattress and sleep products. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining an organized showroom, and supporting store sales through product knowledge and customer engagement. Hourly pay is offered along with opportunities to earn additional income through sales SPIFF incentives. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their needs and enhance their shopping experience Operate the POS system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts processing Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure attractive displays and product availability Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options Maintain proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management through stock checks, inventory counts, and organizing stockroom areas Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality Comfortable talking with customers and asking questions Retail or sales experience preferred, previous experience selling mattresses highly favored Reliable and dependable Basic computer and POS skills Available evenings and weekends Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional service!
