Allure Designs in Beauty is a busy, award-winning salon with a retail boutique! We have been in business for 30 years and are located in a historic downtown district in Libertyville IL! We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and sales-driven Guest Services & Sales Associate to join our team! We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves connecting with people, and understands that exceptional customer service and successful sales go hand in hand. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, building client relationships, and supporting the growth of our business. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Customer Service Warmly greet every guest and create a welcoming, luxury salon experience. Manage guest check-in and checkout efficiently and professionally. Answer incoming calls, emails, and guest inquiries with exceptional communication skills. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments while maximizing stylist availability. Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations. Resolve guest concerns professionally and with a solution-oriented approach. Build lasting relationships that encourage guest loyalty and retention. Sales & Revenue Growth Actively promote salon services, retail products, boutique merchandise, and gift cards. Educate guests on products and services that meet their individual needs. Recommend future appointments and encourage guests to prebook before leaving. Introduce guests to new services, promotions, and special events. Identify opportunities to upgrade services and increase retail sales. Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining an authentic, guest-focused approach. Assist with boutique merchandising, product displays, and maintaining inventory. Front Desk & Salon Operations Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm, organized, and professional demeanor. Process payments, gift cards, returns, and transactions accurately. Maintain an organized and beautiful reception and retail environment. Communicate effectively with stylists, spa professionals, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience. Assist with appointment adjustments, cancellations, and waitlists to maximize salon productivity. Support daily operations and assist other team members as needed. Aid and support staff in marketing with photos for social media.

Qualifications Our ideal candidate:

Has a genuine passion for beauty, fashion, and customer service. Enjoys selling and is motivated by achieving goals. Has a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can confidently multitask in a busy environment. Is dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Is comfortable using computers, booking software, and point-of-sale systems. Works well independently and as part of a team. Is willing to learn about professional haircare, skincare, and boutique products. Previous retail sales, hospitality, or salon experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and a passion for people.
