This position will work with the Team Leader and the Area Coordinator in the onsite management of a Holiday Gift Center, ensuring that staff, product and shop operations are handled in accordance with See's guidelines and corporate philosophy in the areas of sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance and safety. Duties Work in conjunction with the Team leader to ensure that the location operates smoothly and achieves seasonal goals, while meeting See's standards for customer service, policies and procedures in the Team Lead's absence. Responsible for positively communicating and implementing the company's direction, policies and programs. Regular communication with Team Leader and Area Coordinator. Assists with recruiting qualified team members for hiring, if needed. Leads by example. Provides appropriate coaching and feedback to shop's team. Responsible for ensuring all procedures related to cash handling are followed at all times. Maintains the accuracy and integrity of timekeeping records. Works with Team Leader to implement weekly work schedule Ensures all paperwork is submitted timely and according to deadlines and protocols. Ensures all team members are in compliance with all safety program guidelines. Other projects as assigned. Committed to the company's core principles and workplace values. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently. Minimum 1 year retail management experience. Ability to adhere to company standards for dress code. Proven success in communicating in a positive and effective manner: ability in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees. Proven ability to learn new techniques quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and in a positive manner. Experience in cash management and protection of assets. Flexible work schedule, ability to work overtime when business requires it.
