Siegwerk in Huntley, IL is looking for an Ink Technician to join our team! As an Ink Technician you will perform a broad range of technical tasks pertaining to daily ink room management and operation under the direction of the plant manager. Your Tasks

• What You can expect as Inhouse Technician? You assist customer with ink room operations. You coordinate job set up for presses. You formulate and blend inks as required. You maintain inventory control standards. You organize inks for press runs. You return inks from press to appropriate area. You perform press-side color matching. You operate color computer. Other duties as assigned. Your Profile
• What do You bring as Inhouse Technician? You have experience working with ink
• UV, Water-based
• preferred but not required.

You have color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films preferred. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communications skills, and demonstrated initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting required. You have knowledge of basic computer operating and a good working knowledge of IMS. You have ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
